The research gap is a question or problem that has not been addressed by other scholars or any existing study in the field of study. Identifying these gaps allows researchers to continue with the research meant to develop a new idea (Dickert et al., 2020). One of the gaps encountered during the literature review is the difference in the time of research. Empirical studies tend to lose significance after some time because of the development of new knowledge that tends to make the old studies outdated (Huss et al., 2020). This natural process always makes researchers use the most recent studies to develop the research gap. This would be important in becoming significant with the current situation addressed by the study. The gap brought by time in research allows the current researchers to build on the past ideologies in developing new knowledge that has a direct solution to a specific problem in research.
