The proposed implementation of reducing incidences of falls and injuries on a medical-surgical ward in 6 months using the TIPS toolkit project involves key stakeholders such as patients, project members, administration staff, and nurses. This team will work in harmony to ensure the successful implementation of the EBP (Duncombe, 2018). For instance, the nurses to draft schedules for the patients on how to undertake the EBP approach for the first time. The main issue that would hinder the project is the varying opinions and perceptions of the professional team. While others might support the approach, other professionals would have a negative feeling about the proposed project (Alatawi et al., 2020). The second barrier would come from the employee resistance, who might not want to support the change because it would affect their normal operation in healthcare institutions.

The solution to these challenges would come from improved clarity of the goals and objectives of the plan and the approach to all key stakeholders. Intense research on the literature on the project would allow a better explanation of the project to the stakeholders (Li et al., 2019). Most projects often fail because of the assumption that all stakeholders understand the project and how it would impact healthcare. All the necessary training needs to be in place before the proposed implementation to give stakeholders the power to support the change. It would be important to allow all employees to understand the project by providing clear guidelines and a timeline for implementation to mitigate this issue. The success of my project would rely on the readiness of all stakeholders to support the change. The collective solution to these barriers would be through effective communication of the project by bringing each stakeholder on board in the decision-making process. The literature on the EBP would also offer important information for the proposed readiness for change.
