Professional presentations are a core part of capstone projects as they demonstrate what one is doing for different audiences. Individuals making presentations may demonstrate certain personal strengths and weaknesses that make them better presenters and also implore them to improve. One personal strength concerning professional presentation that I possess is better organization and articulation of my ideas to audiences. Organization is a critical aspect of effective presentation as it allows one to address all issues of concern before an audience (Leder et al., 2019). Effective preparation and avoiding procrastination are key components of being organized. Through these approaches, I get sufficient time to edit and re-edit the presentation before making it in front of an audience. One critical weakness when making presentation is my desire to cover all areas and having more information than is necessary for the audience. While I believe that effective presentations should be in-depth with supporting evidence and details, this may be confusing to the audience and make them get fatigued. Further, giving more information means taking much time to explain and answer questions from the audience (Ledford et al., 2022). The implication is that some members of the audience may find it unnecessary and this affects overall delivery of intended message or goal of the presentation.

It is essential to improve on both the strength and weakness that I have when making presentations. To improve on organization, it is essential to practice and increase the enthusiasm that accompanies such crowds and their perceived roles in the presentation (Verzella et al., 2021). Secondly, being precise and brief to the point are important for me to ensure that I only give information that is required and substantial to the audience. The implication is that working on these skills will make the presentation more formal, impactful, and targeted at the audience in an effective manner.
