Workplace incivility always affects the achievement of goals among health care staff. These are common issues that have been rampant in health care institutions, and health care organizations need an effective change process that would respond to the problem effectively. The healthcare workers would be sensitized about the impending changes taking place at the organization. This stage would effectively collect the views and perceptions of the workers on this change. The information collected from these workers would effectively design the implementation plan and meet the schedule. This transformation would aim to increase the quality-of-service delivery and the application of technology in making health care services available to many patients. In nursing, quality service delivery is the best way an organization can gain a competitive advantage in its environment. Each patient would want to have quality health care that would id them in recovering from their problems (Bhalaji et al., 2019). However, the change in work efficiency by including a technological communication system at the facility would be the road towards meeting the desired health care goals.

Justification for Change

Our healthcare workers were in a panic mode concerning the infection increase even after an increased number of vaccinated people had been registered in the country. The vaccination given to the health workers is not sure that healthcare professionals would not be on panic mode (Bhalaji et al., 2019). The increased benefits and coverage of expenses on the pandemic-related infection would be important to improve the safety of the employees. Our health care workers need additional surety on their health and safety benefits.

Automation of the communication system at the health care would allow health care workers to spend less time looking for patient information and referring patients to other professionals within the unit. This change would be looking forward to making the work of the health care professionals easier and allowing them to meet their daily schedules. Besides, automation of the system by training employees on EHRs and wireless devices within the institution eliminates fatigue. For instance, the time workers would take to finish a task would decrease, giving them the ability to finish shifts early. This would allow the clinic to attain a financial stability state (Almost et al., 2018). A financially stable condition would allow the clinic to adopt an inclining trend of development gearing towards offering quality health care delivery to all people.

Scope of Proposed Change

The proposed changes at our institution would include increasing workplace safety and health by increasing health benefits to cover new infections such as the COVID-19 (Lan et al., 2020). Besides, the institution would include new wireless work devices and system that allows health care workers to spend less time looking for patient-related information. Increasing the efficiency of work at the institutions would allow all the health care workers to limit the chances of boredom and fatigue, which hinder the quality of services.

Change Management Team

The stakeholder that would affect the change includes employees and the executive at the company. While it is sometimes defined as a soft side of change, managing the people side of the transformation often becomes the most challenging and critical issue in the healthcare setting. This kind of change in the health care environment at the organization should have minimal effect on employees and stakeholders in the institution. The proposed change in our organization would trigger immense resistance because most of the employees working do not know how the method works. Besides, most employees would feel that they would reduce the responsibilities that would later land them jobless. This defines one of the negative implications that the transformation would be causing in our organization (Kalagi et al., 2018). However, the patients would have a quality service delivery.

Communication Plan

All health care workers at the institutions would receive an email on the proposed change and their role in the change process. The communication team will be working effectively to include each employee up to date on the required measures to affect the change (Bhalaji et al., 2019). This process would also be important in examining the opinions of other employees on the proposed change.

Risk Mitigation Plan

Employee resistance is one of the main risks that the change process would face. However, in this plan, we will train all employees on the changes they would train teach them to derive the positive impact of the change.

Conclusion

The workplace environment affects employees that adversely affect patient care and should be avoided by all means possible. As a result, organizations should be committed to addressing the work environment by improving the employees’ satisfaction and automating their systems.
